1. I do feel that our government should be concerned. Our country is a huge melting pot of culture and there are many Haitians or people of Haitian descent living inside US borders. So therefore it makes all the since in the world to be concerned.
2. I think the US and other countries are giving all that they can give. Remember that the funds being spent to finance wars, help the impoverished and aid suffering countries comes from the pockets of the working American anyway by way of Federal taxes.
3. I have none.
Topic Suggestion:
Socialism vs. Capitalism vs. Communism…what are your thoughts on these systems of government and which one should America choose that would benefit the greater good.

Yes; I think our Government should be very much concerned about the recovery of Haiti even while we are currently in a recession. We are our brothers keeper. Even though we are currently in a recession, we still have the basic things that we all need, some of us are even living in luxury, while our brothers and sisters are over there in Haiti in need of the basic things to sustain life. ‘” How could you have the world’s possession and your brother is in need, and you give not to him ?”

Concerning the Recovery of Haiti
Despite whether you agree or disagree who’s in office and for everybody else who is running this country This is America the greatest country on Earth whether people like it or not this what we do, America always helps out. This has nothing to do with government people fail to realize the America goes far beyond the government it’s about the good nature of people across this nation willing to help in what ever way they can, and as for the government giving money when you sow great seed you reap a great harvest.
